Pros

Good cause for what they are doing for kids.

Cons

This place couldn’t be more of an absolute dumpster fire..more of a landfill fire mixed with a tire fire… Upper management has zero communication with one another. The next level of manager is completely inept and toxic, the infrastructure is totally a mess and you are gaslit into thinking you’re the problem despite it being with the management. IT/security dept is in complete disarray and HR does not want to even deal with the plethora of problems that exist in onboarding, IT management or anything that causes them an awkward situation or conflict.

Pros

When I first joined the company, I wasn’t completely sure whether it was truly mission-driven or simply using the mission as a talking point. It didn’t take long for me to see that their commitment is real. This organization genuinely prioritizes its mission of protecting children over the bottom line, and that authenticity shows in every part of the culture. The environment here is unlike any other workplace I’ve experienced. It feels like a family—supportive, collaborative, and grounded in shared purpose. Leadership doesn’t just say they care about employees; they consistently show it. They invest not only in our well-being, but in the well-being of our families as well. It’s rare to work somewhere where your paycheck directly contributes to saving lives, and that meaning gives my work a level of fulfillment I’ve never had before. The executive leadership team is approachable, engaged, and genuinely connected with employees at every level. From day one, this hasn’t felt like “just a job.” Instead, it’s a place where I feel I’m making a real contribution—to children, to families, to the community, and to overall safety. It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of something that truly matters.

Cons

The only downside is that the organization is not yet operating in every state. Given how important and impactful this mission is, this type of work truly needs to be available nationwide.
