BIS is a great place to work. Work hours 8-5 Monday through Friday so I get weekends off to spend with my family. They offer every benefit possible, health insurance is 35$ a paycheck(twice a month). It is true that goes up for employees with families but it is very competitive for the area. Salary varies by position obviously, but from personal experience I started here after leaving the military and my paycheck is very close to what It was then and is VERY competitive for Northeast TN Southwest VA. This is a very team/family orientated environment. The company goes above and beyond to help if you have a personal issue to handle. 2-3 weeks of vacation a year. No place is perfect, but this is a great place to start and grow your IT career. I have never seen anyone laid off. The VERY few people I have seen fired over the years were all people who never showed up to work and had bad attitudes towards supervisors . They were given hundreds of chances before finally being let go. Everyone has a boss unless you own your own business or are homeless, it’s called being an adult. Company promotes from within so a lot of room to get promoted and work your up to different departments.

Would love for the family insurance to go down a bit, but like I said it is competitive with other companies.

Pay was good, work wasn't bad, the people are good to be around.
