Pros
The tutors really care and do a great job--even though they have to work with a 3-1 ratio of students--sometimes teaching 3 different subjects at a time.
Cons
If it is your desire to be micromanaged, belittled and treated as if you work in a Korean Sweat Shop then by all means take a job as a Program Lead or Assistant Center Director. Be prepared for the following: CONSTANT interference from upper management, even when things are going well. There is ENORMOUS pressure to make budget--by any means necessary! (100% not deemed acceptable---115% is more the accepted norm.) Besides being micromanaged, and depending on the center (you may or may not get any support from your Center Director--bet on not.) as a PL or Assistant Center Director you are expected to answer all calls, do all the admin work, scheduling, meet with parents and sell, sell, sell, make at least 30 "lead calls" a day which MUST be documented and attend constant daily meetings called "Huddles" these daily huddles are designed to increase productivity, which (you will come to realize that there is never enough productivity!) you actually could produce more were it were not for these inane meetings---which are all about money, money, money!!! You are also expected to keep the STR (Student Teacher Ratio) at 3-1. 3 Students per teacher---anything less is unacceptable as it cuts into the bottom line---never mind the students. Also, if you expect to have ANY type of personal life--think again! Your hours are 1-9:30 PM Mon-Thurs---but you don't leave until all the work is done so around 10 is more like it. Saturdays are 9-5 but again, don't expect to leave at 5. (also do not expect any overtime either--ever! Also, good luck finding time to eat lunch.) You get the 5 or 6 big holidays a year off--no long weekends as Saturdays are a must and expect to work Christmas Eve until 9. Unless you are completely desperate I would HIGHLY advise against working at C2. The place is a revolving door, and you wont last long anyway, unless you are prepared to sell your soul!
