Cons
So many cons! Management is abusive and will take advantage of you, especially if you own a car/laptop. They will transfer you to different centers by bullying you into it. Unless you're a center director meeting over the company's monthly budget, you're treated like you're replaceable. Upper management yells and will tell you what's wrong and why you need to fix things, with no positive or real strategies on how to improve. They will encourage you to skip all of your breaks including your unpaid lunch, or like in my case, not even tell me that I was allowed 10 minute breaks. You will be micro-managed by your center director and PL, depending on your position. Teachers are treated pretty poorly because the company only cares about SALES and not about education. They give their students and parents gift cards for making positive google reviews & yelp reviews. All of those nice reviews are fake, and done in order to make C2 look better. The angry one-star reviews are accurate. People quit left and right because they hate it there. There's no training so you're yelled at for every mistake you make though you don't know how to do a lot. Pissed parents will come in and yell at you for thing previous directors did, and often parents don't know what their students are really doing in class. C2 is VERY shady and keeps things from the parents who pay around 4k to attend because they don't want the parents realizing that the tutors often don't know how to teach their subjects and that they make PLs teach (without paying them teaching wages) and that C2 is generally a huge SCAM. I seriously quit ASAP because I was transferred to three centers within three months and I was constantly being yelled at. HR does NOTHING to help you if you report it. It's a huge joke, really. Please find somewhere else to work no matter what they promise you. At the end of it, you will feel just as swindled as most parents end up feeling because they kind of "sold" you this idea of an amazing job. I quit for a lower-paying job because I was so fed up with the lying done by everyone.
