Pros

I can always feel safe that whenever I bring up a small complaint that I wish to be anonymous, then my center director can always passive-aggressively use this time to deflect my own concerns and criticize my own performance. Here at C2, center directors are passionate at letting the vices of favored employees be acceptable, while You can always expect a warmth and kindness from your center director, so as long as you continue to not screw up, and he or she will instantly yell at you regardless of your past history and service in the company. Directors are human beings, who will talk badly behind your back in front of others and influence the work culture to allow such behavior.

Cons

Let's look at how C2 operates on the store-fronts. There are a few assistant directors that work salaried at overtime, and all they do is direct phone calls to the director, create schedules for students, copy materials to be distributed for students, and then submit scores for data keeping. The money is made by parents signing a contract that essentially is $50 per hour for 100 hours at $5,000. Each tutoring session is two hours long, and is filled with two other students who have different subjects. Normally, smaller areas would have a specific class with teachers teaching one subject; the way that C2 sounds very appealing is that the parents are bought into the idea that a 3-to-1 ratio is that three students are taking the same subject, but this is far from the truth. What type of efficiency is this organization trying to run? The answer is, trying to maximize each employee's hours. When employees do not get all the hours that the request, the management deflect this inefficiency by claiming that they are doing their best. You have tiers of students: either your child becomes locked to one tutor who specializes in what your student really needs, or they are non-essential, and gets moved around with half of the tutors there, and merely serve as fillers for the weekly compliance.
