Pros
You get to help students on a personal level. You really get to know them over time. The pay is great as long as you are working with students directly. Getting hours varies by location, but your experience here will help you tutor privately or work for another company.
Cons
The pay for training or admin work was 9.50 or so, half of what I was paid for tutoring with students. I moved around from center to center as a sort of substitute tutor, so I never developed deep ties. I was also expected to teach an incredible range of subjects, or perhaps just encouraged to do so- ACT, SAT, science, writing, whatever.
