Cons
So many negatives about this place its truly astonishing. Low wages, little to no benefits, take on more work for no changes in merit, 90% of the employees are immigrants and barely speak English, the area itself is full of homeless and sketchy people. Weird stuff I encountered while I was an employee: Weekly "shoutout" meetings where people pat each other on the back Products are constantly broken People will play Foosball for hours Questionable ceo and management Executives visiting from US where employees need to come in an hour early and leave an hour early Forced team lunches where its paid out of your own pocket Tracking hours Hybrid work arrangements are not allowed but there are employees that work remotely in BC, Manitoba etc, wtf? Id rather be homeless than go through this again. Frankly this place gave me PTSD, absolutely drove me nuts and glad I got out when I did. Praise be to allah
