      Pros

      I really grew as a Software Developer learning new and exciting technologies, that stayed on par with industry leading standards

      Cons

      Growth Frame work at CBT was non existent, and after a short time it became apparent that my career was not going far at CBT. Even after working with my supervisors diligently to establish a growth plan, I was met with me holding up my end of the agreement, and CBT will roll a dice to see if they would hold up theirs. I just didn't feel comfortable gambling on my families well being. That said, a few people hit the Jackpot and get a really great position at CBT, but unfortunately that is not the case for everyone

      Excellent benefits - 5 weeks PTO annually, free healthcare for your whole family, 401k matching Fully remote workforce Regular bonus awarded through profit sharing Casual culture, work hard play hard type of vibe You can get a lot of experience on a number of projects or collaborative work with other teams

      Cons

      Not a great place for people who need really structured management or tasks - you need to be self-motivated enough to get things done quickly as a remote worker, and be responsible and driven enough to be able to figure stuff out on your own as it's very trimmed-down on the management and operations side. Don't work here if you're not comfortable with shifting priorities - we work fast to try new things and pivot quickly as needed.

      Remote, team before everyone was let go.

      Cons

      Fear culture, no communication or rather, some manipulation. No collaboration amongst other teams.
