Pros

The people here are really nice and easy to work with. Benefits are pretty good, more PTO than most places.

Cons

TLDR; Below industry standard pay, no respect from leadership, heavy workload, many people leaving every week, poor leadership, unchecked disrespect and misogyny in the workplace. You will be paid below industry standard. The company will try to convince you that benefits or the newly introduced profit sharing will make up for not getting paid fairly. On that note, there is no raise structure and it is unlikely that you will see an increase in pay while working here, no matter how much you contribute to the team. They will also expect you to do the job of multiple people to avoid hiring new people. When an integral team member leaves they will not do anything to prepare for their absence, just expect the team to pick up their slack. They would rather let someone who is already trained and does their job well, leave and hire someone new and retrain them for several months than just pay the first employee what they deserve. Employee retention is not something the company seems to care about whatsoever. So many people have left, multiple times during the week we will receive emails about people leaving. Not to mention the people who are leaving are some of the best of the best, people who seemed to love this company the most because of its people and the values it once had. They have all gone on to better companies. Leadership is terrible. It's almost non-existent, and those who are leaders do not seem to respect or value their team members, but rather they have a large ego and inflated sense of self and do almost nothing to actually help the team. Speaking of respect, if you are a women expect to encounter unchecked misogyny. The very few women that work here lean heavily on each other for support and when incidents occur, HR does just about nothing. Trainers also get special treatment when it comes to the way they act or treat other team members. You are basically expected to treat them like royalty and they get no repercussions for being disrespectful or not doing their job correctly. A trainer recently sent screenshots of private messages with another employee to the entire company because he was upset that they asked him to finish uncompleted work. It was definitely not the first time something like this has happened and it will for sure not be the last. Not to mention they get paid REALLY well, even when their content performs poorly. Part of their pay structure is based on quantity but not necessarily quality. Some trainers game the system to make a lot of money whilst producing content that doesn't contribute to the companies success. Be fore-warned that this is a place that's really easy to get stuck in, you really like your coworkers and the benefits are in some ways better than other companies so you can find your self making excuses for real and impactful issues.

Pros

Excellent benefits - 5 weeks PTO annually, free healthcare for your whole family, 401k matching Fully remote workforce Regular bonus awarded through profit sharing Casual culture, work hard play hard type of vibe You can get a lot of experience on a number of projects or collaborative work with other teams

Cons

Not a great place for people who need really structured management or tasks - you need to be self-motivated enough to get things done quickly as a remote worker, and be responsible and driven enough to be able to figure stuff out on your own as it's very trimmed-down on the management and operations side. Don't work here if you're not comfortable with shifting priorities - we work fast to try new things and pivot quickly as needed.
