Pros
CCMC promotes that the employees are their number one asset. I think they truly believe that to be the case. Benefits with 401K are good with vacation and medical separated. Which actually can be a pro or a con depending on your own situation. I have been pleased to see a bigger push on internal communications from the corporate side.
Cons
While CCMC promotes employee satisfaction, unfortunately I don't think that corporate team is really versed in what actually happens on site. From shared services (which is a large department) getting the opportunity to work different hours, making it difficult on site as especially in the summer time as many are gone by 1pm to get things finalized. Also, if you are interested in furthering your career, but not as a community manager there really isn't a lot of other opportunities. Corporate positions in different markets are few and far between, with some regions having one - two vp's leaving managers to fend for themselves, or create a dictatorship. It appears that when you are based out of the Scottsdale office, there is much more fellowship and luncheons etc. While onsite, there isn't a lot of employee engagement.
