      Pros

      - Excellent salary, PTO and benefits - Flex work options, part time or full time remote - Managers will listen and help you achieve your goals. Quarterly meetings to discuss progress towards goals and to ensure you are on the right track. Does not micromanage. - Extremely knowledgeable and helpful co-workers - Company paid certifications if you wish to improve your skills. Always looking for training, webinars and outside vendors to contribute - Excellent internal IT/BT department that will help you at a moments notice

      Cons

      - Bureaucratic culture with many obstacles that may hold you back - Small group, limited resources - Sometimes feel like the work can dry up leading to busy work and unrelated tasks - The provided laptops barely meet minimum software specs as of 2023. They feel cheap and mine has broken many times. Very hard to get upgraded internals.

      Pros

      Flexible hybrid schedule is very nice and starting salary is high for early career engineers.

      Cons

      The main people running the company are not engineers and you can tell. They are all focused on utilization with rates often set at 97% or higher. This had led to my supervisor asking/telling me to not charge company required trainings. As an early engineer it really feels like they don't want to invest in me and only care about their bottom line. If you are an early career structural engineer you will also not get any meaningful work until you've been with the company for at least 5 years. The senior engineers do not trust you and will only give you grunt work.
