Pros

Health insurance, education, and internal training opportunities are all excellent.

Cons

CDW has its hands in so many pies it can be extremly difficult to coordinate efforts across departments. Many departments are only connected by the sales teams, who often lack enough knowlege in the technical details to maintain a technical discussion. The new EBO (Enterprise Business Operations) department is rapidly burning out old talent with it politics and "move quick and break things" attitude. They are standardizing Pay but it has resulted in some groups (with more politically Savvy leaders) achieving better pay, while others were left behind.

Pros

We all help each other to win unlike any other organization I've worked for. I've never seen an organization support their "coworkers" like CDW has. Management is excellent, supportive and not breathing down our neck but of course have expectations. Leadership is visible. The other day I got off the elevator and the CEO, Chris Leahy, was there which startled me to the point I didn't have words for her. Just be prepared to engage with variety of people often and you'll be successful here.

Cons

None at the moment. I could always get more pay but not real cons. If I owned a business, I'd model it after CDW in part.

Pros

You have the ability to sell full stack solutions, services and software.

Cons

I have worked at CDW for 10yrs and every single year they have changed the comp plan in a way that makes it harder for sellers to make money (constantly moving the goal post). Prior to 2020 CDW had little to no lay offs now it is happening every six months. They say the reasons is to reduce cost and improve efficiencies BUT as a company our sales continue to grow along with the C-levels pockets.
