Pros
CDW offers great benefits and a supportive environment that promotes personal health and work-life balance. Depending on the position, CDW is a great place for new college grads to build their career and is also a great place for individuals with experience but maybe not the education level that most other companies require. Although CDW encourages its employees to further their education, it is not a deal breaker when applying for an initial role at the company or when going for a promotion. CDW respects both education and experience.
Cons
One of the only cons to working at CDW is the compensation for non-sales roles. The compensation plans are inflexible and in some cases, not competitive within our industry. This can limit CDW’s candidate pool for specific roles. In addition, it may cause some employees to look outside the organization. Although this is one negative aspect to working at CDW, their benefits, culture, and career development opportunities do help offset the compensation.
