Pros

When hired, they are good about cross training. They genuinely care about employees once you are part of CEW.

Cons

No raises for field sales personnel. Big caste system in which the account managers get most of the perks, where other perssonel are not eligible. When I resigned, and gave my notice, CDW refused to pay me for my last 2 weeks. They just showed me the door. They claim they do everything w/ integrity and respect, but upper management does not adhere to this. At the end of the day, you are a number and they only care about the bottom line

Pros

You have the ability to sell full stack solutions, services and software.

Cons

I have worked at CDW for 10yrs and every single year they have changed the comp plan in a way that makes it harder for sellers to make money (constantly moving the goal post). Prior to 2020 CDW had little to no lay offs now it is happening every six months. They say the reasons is to reduce cost and improve efficiencies BUT as a company our sales continue to grow along with the C-levels pockets.
