Pros
Pay: There is a high upside if you are strategic and play your cards right here. If you stay committed, the potential to make six to seven figures within your first ten years is very plausible. The benefits are immense. Insurance is great and college reimbursement is also available. Not to mention all of the catering we get in the office, happy hours, and vacation incentives. Work-life balance: Middle management is very understanding about taking time off for mental health reasons or requesting days off at the last minute. We get 2 extra PTO days to use as mental health days. -Commute: The office is 15 minutes from my house. This will depend on what city you are in. -Growth opportunities: CDW offers many opportunities to move either upward into management or laterally into other departments. Culture: The office culture in the West is vibrant and upbeat. We all share a common goal of success and work together to make it possible. I have never had a team that works so well together. -The Job Itself: Exciting and engaging. -Learning Opportunities: I learned more about business in 2.5 years at CDW than my entire time at college. Networking: This is a great opportunity to network with people in all industries at any level.
Cons
-Low base pay compared to other tech companies -The commission structure could be improved upon, but it's not terrible. -Can be a stressful job at times since you are expected to hit sales goals. -Stock plan could be better -No real lead generation outside of what you do yourself, that can be a pro or con depending on how you look at it.
