Pros
The people are genuinely good. The work environment can be pretty laid back and not very demanding compared to other companies within the industry. Benefits are good but not great. If you just want to earn a salary, fly below the radar and go home then this might be the company for you.
Cons
The company is becoming more centralized by the day and fewer decisions are left to the location. Management puts pressure on locations to cut expenses to the bone instead of being reasonable with expenses and then pushing to drive revenue. Merchandisers are merely originators and managers are glorified babysitters with little freedom to make decisions. The company touts "record bonuses" but you should ask "as compared to what?" That would not be so terrible except base salary is nothing to write home about either. Decisions are slow to be made especially regarding personnel and bc of that top talent continues to leave for greener pastures.
