I understand that the transition our people go through when we acquire a firm can be challenging. Even though we work with the firms we acquire to ensure there are more synergies than differences, I sure it can feel like a bit of a culture shock for our new teammates. But all our work gives us confidence it’s a good match; we know Javan is a great fit for CHA and vice versa.
As for being bean counters 😉 We like to think of ourselves as extremely thoughtful and deliberate. We want to ensure we are making the best decisions so that our business remains healthy and is growing. The good news is that all that deliberation and thoughtfulness leads to success and wonderful things like job security. But I’m sure, it can also feel cold or distant for those more accustomed to working for a smaller business. I can say with confidence that the people of CHA are not cold and distant at all – on the contrary, we are warm and welcoming. Just give it time, it will feel normal again soon.
