Pros
Amazing benefits, fair pay, and challenging work -- if you're in logistics -- you work through so many obstacles every day, and it's hard, but fulfilling and genuinely exciting if you love supply chain logistics. Good if you're more of a linear thinker. Not great for abstract/creative personality types.
Cons
Logistics requires a two year commitment off the bat, which is hard to commit first entering into a company. Even if you've been there a year and find something more aligned with your goals, you will be held back. There are some problem personalities in management, and they will try to undermine your experience and qualifications at any opportunity and will do so until you break. No amount of one-on-one meetings or employee relations cases will resolve if they want to weed you out. Will frequently remind you of your place if you try to think too far outside the box. If you have a more abstract, entrepreneurial personality, look elsewhere. CHEP wants compliance, not creativity which is tough when you manage exceptions that require creative solutions every day.
