Pros
CHG is the most transparent company I've ever been part of. Leaders are encouraged and expected to be available for coaching, feedback and sharing information. My direct leader regularly asks about my career and development goals and is aware of what's going on in my life outside work. Communication is one of the strengths of CHG and we regularly hear from leaders and our CEO about where the company is headed. That helps me stay focused on company and personal goals and give my best effort each day. Unique benefits like an on-site healthcare clinic lower healthcare costs and I appreciate the company's commitment to helping me make healthy eating and work-life choices. CHG is also the first company I've worked for that actively promotes and lives its core values every day. The company also does a great job celebrating big and small achievements. It's all these reasons that CHG wins awards as a great place to work. I plan to work at CHG for many years and I'm grateful to have found a company that encourages me to be myself while I work each day to put people first.
Cons
CHG offers a decent 401k match and program, but it could be even better through a more aggressive vesting schedule and/or a higher match. This is a company that expects people to believe in and contribute to the culture. If you're cynical about the idea of putting people first (and yourself second), you'll want to look at other employers. Arrogant, selfish people don't succeed at CHG.
