Pros

-Hybrid schedule and flexibility -Good/Numerous benefits

Cons

-They don't follow the core values they drill in your head -They do not like when you bring items to their attention that go directly against their values. Their attitude will change towards you after a while -You get very little direction or hands on help. When you do great leadership has no issue gloating how great they are. If anything goes wrong due to lack of help all the scrutiny falls on you. -They do not genuinely care about you as a person. Do not share personal information with them. They will use it against you. -They have certain special employees who are allowed to do as they please. My team must have had over 20 complaints on one certain employee with backed up evidence to the digressions and nothing was ever done. -If you show leadership qualities they see that as a threat. I was told if I wanted to help people I was to run it by them first for approval. -Expect pushback and worse treatment if you aren't a yes person who agrees with everything they say, no matter if it makes sense or not -Clear favoritism. Certain employees get clear special treatment while they ignore the others. -No transparency. Do not expect transparency on any decisions. -They are fine with conflict of interest when it comes to deciding which doctors get selected for jobs. In any other business they set clear conflict of interest rules (EX: A family member can't approve a loan at a bank) but here they allow the same people speaking with hospitals to push their own doctors for the job. Giving them the opportunity to make double the money. -If you're a man you have a much shorter leash than you would if you were a woman. -Inappropriate relationships are normal here. Directors pursuing/sleeping with consultants happens regularly -They try to not pay you what you’ve earned. You have to fight with them just to get your pay. -Not a good company with any morals

Pros

CHG sincerely cares about people. I love working here and feel that my leaders always have my back. I'm also proud of the positive difference we're making in the world. In addition to supporting the healthcare system, we help send medical providers on mission trips around the world.

Cons

Not much to mention here. Wish we had more sabbaticals offered. Better 401(k) match would be appreciated, as well.

Pros

Ability to work from home. OK pay. Mostly great people to work with.

Cons

Used to be a company that never laid people off. Now it seems that every month, some group has layoffs. We are being told that AI won't replace any people, yet people are being laid off and not replaced. Promotions from within are rare. VPs are hired from outside the company. Culture has changed. Bad behavior is tolerated if that person gives good results for the bottom line. Leaders can push to have people in other departments demoted or fired. Many leaders only pay lip service to Work/Life balance. I often take my computer with me on my days off so I can jump on and take care of things. I frequently answer emails and phone calls on days off. Lots of pressure to come into the office to work, even if the rest of your team isn't there. Messaging from management is confusing. We are told that CHG is gaining market share in a difficult market and then told that CHG isn't meeting its goals, so raises will be very small and the bonuses won't be that great. But somehow CHG is doing really well. Skip level 1:1 are a waste of time. I've figured out that if I just get whoever I'm talking to talking about their stuff, I don't actually have to say anything. If I do manage to bring up a concern or ask a question, I'm told that I'm making an interesting point, but I don't get any further information or answers. Basically, CHG has become just like any other corporation.
