Pros
The best things about working for CHRISTUS are its Christian values and mission. While not every individual upholds them, the overall organization continues to attempt to maintain the original mission of the organization. They continue to honor and celebrate the history, and it is nice to be a part of that. Additionally, there is opportunity to advance and/or move to another area, especially since the organization has grown so large. They offer fair salaries and competitive benefits for full-time and part-time employees.
Cons
There tends to be a lot of re-organization within the organization that includes elimination of positions. There has been more outsourcing recently as well. They also tend to require a nursing license for a lot of positions that could be done by non-clinical people.
