Pros
Employers/employees friendly most of the time. Respected place to work. A busy hospital for a town of 50,000 people is centrally located, easy to reach. Has been a solid employer in this community for many years. Many long term employees enjoy working there and plan to stay.
Cons
Long Hours. Moderate pay. More attention should be paid to training employees once they have moved beyond the usual new-employee general in-service training. Training is average, but could be better. Emergency room is almost always overcrowded, sometimes with direct admit patients having to wait 8 hours or longer to get a hospital bed.
