Pros

- Great pay compared to other relative PT facilities in the area/across TX - Low patient load with 1-on-1 PT for an hour always (never any doubles or triples) - Great benefits, health insurance at a low cost with ample PTO - Great management and supervisors/directors that are very personable and understanding - Great colleagues and team-oriented positivity - Appreciation from management for your work

Cons

- No EMR system (all hand-written notes, but give an hour at end of each day to finish documentation) - Recruiters gave misinformation and communicated poorly upon hiring - Very strict hospital-based rules and regulations that are not always logical or effective (especially during Covid with masking)

Pros

Stable employment. Benefits. Potential for overtime

Cons

They funnel all of the money to leadership positions and towards new construction. In my current position inflation is higher than what they're willing to compensate me more so each year becomes more depressing. The mental health issues I'm suffering compounds year after year just like compound interest. Anyway that's why I'm here looking for a new job. If you're in a nursing position you'll end up finding yourself jumping to UT Tyler so you can a pay raise and then jump back to Christus. It's essentially price discrimination but for wages.
