Pros
The pay is great, usually starting at $11. The environment is pretty cool.
Cons
Since I work in a pediatric office on an off-site location that is owned by the hospital, we do not get the benefits as hospital employees do such as paid holidays. We have to use our PTO for every holiday that rolls around and if we don't have PTO, we simply do not get paid. Unless you are a nurse or a physician, there is no room for promotion. What you get hired as if what you will quit, retire, get fired as.
