      Pros

      Plant supervisor was amazing did everything he could for me but the company wouldn’t give at all would still be there if not for CHS as a company not hiring in the town I worked

      Cons

      Promised many times a full time job through CHS waited 3 yrs for that, never happened. Was plant maintenance for 3 yrs through a temp service

      Pros

      Clean refinery, good enough compensation

      Cons

      Folks in mid to high-level management manage, but do not lead. Refinery management actively strays from big-company principles for what is apparently a desire for control over local employees. Capital costs are high but management will fight tooth and nail to save a dime on labor.
