      Great autonomy in being able to make decisions that was best for the success of the local business without having hands tied by red tape.

      Cons

      Country Operations locations are managed at the pure discretion of the local GM which might be very anti-corporate CHS.

      Pros

      Clean refinery, good enough compensation

      Cons

      Folks in mid to high-level management manage, but do not lead. Refinery management actively strays from big-company principles for what is apparently a desire for control over local employees. Capital costs are high but management will fight tooth and nail to save a dime on labor.
