      Those who do not wish to follow process and change can create some conflict. There is little leeway or discussion of moving to another position, unless you have the schooling or know the right people.

      Pros

      Clean refinery, good enough compensation

      Cons

      Folks in mid to high-level management manage, but do not lead. Refinery management actively strays from big-company principles for what is apparently a desire for control over local employees. Capital costs are high but management will fight tooth and nail to save a dime on labor.
