      -CHS has an outstanding culture, where you can ask virtually anyone in the building and they will stop what ever they are doing to help you. -Cafeteria staff is great!

      Parking is kind of a pain.

      Pros

      Clean refinery, good enough compensation

      Cons

      Folks in mid to high-level management manage, but do not lead. Refinery management actively strays from big-company principles for what is apparently a desire for control over local employees. Capital costs are high but management will fight tooth and nail to save a dime on labor.
