      Pros

      I loved my summer at CHS. It is an extremely welcoming environment, and everyone I met was dedicated to my success and my future. I was treated like an employee and given real tasks and projects — never getting coffee or making photocopies.

      Cons

      Limited hiring possibilities after the summer.

      Pros

      Clean refinery, good enough compensation

      Cons

      Folks in mid to high-level management manage, but do not lead. Refinery management actively strays from big-company principles for what is apparently a desire for control over local employees. Capital costs are high but management will fight tooth and nail to save a dime on labor.
