Cons
If you ever have been hesitant to work for a big company because of how corrupt or greedy they are, then stay away from this company! I worked for Clearesult for (4) years and right when all of my commissions were coming in, one day I got fired for no reason at all. This company still owes me thousands of dollars, from unpaid commissions to untaken vacation time that is mandatory to be paid! I remember when I was working there that when field staff would “disappear”, they would- give the commissions that they made to management of my department or other workers. I would work from about 7:00 AM to about 7:00 or 8:00 PM at night and when I got home I had to do excess paperwork and draw plans for another (3) hours or so. Altogether I made over $2,000,000 for this company, But I made only a very small fraction of that, and was still fired without any reason and really treated horribly toward the end. Every couple of years or so the utility companies give billions of dollars for some of these energy efficiency programs with minimal results and you’d think they would be able to pay employees better considering that they are a consulting company and not actually producing anything. Furthermore, in the department I worked for, you only needed a high school degree to work there and nobody has any experience in energy efficiency and were called “professionals”. They look primarily for young naïve workers whose only goal is to sell a service to insulate your house (poorly), and do not care about other factors that they advertise as part of their service. This company always considers itself #1!, but it’s easy to be number one if the person giving the award is you! Try and look at some of the other good reviews on this site and see how much they lack in detail. It will give you some idea of how It was probably done by someone in the PR department.
