My colleague whom I was supposed to be supporting was mysteriously restructured out of the company my first week. I had a total of 1.5 hrs of training from that colleague in the area I was to focus. I was assured that for the next couple of weeks while I tried to find resources and documentation for the role, another colleague would step in to perform the day to day duties. This NEVER happened! I leveraged the developers to perform and maintain day to day duties but had to abandon training specifically geared towards that role. In addition, dueling management providing conflicting priorities while not objectively listening or effectively communicating. Interestingly enough when I offered my 2 week resignation to take a much better opportunity, miraculously I was expected to immediately acclimate that colleague who never managed the role for the "2 weeks" I was originally promised. I attempted to schedule time to properly provide all my resources and case updates, however was badgered to the point that I immediately revoked my 2 weeks notice and made my resignation immediate.
