      Pros

      Most down to earth, relatable and competent CEO I've ever met. Great work / life balance (if you're in the right department) Access to as much professional development as you want. Tuition reimbursement Part of a 150+ year institution

      Cons

      Largest board of directors in the entire U.S., with an equally ridiculously large Management Team, leads to mind-numbing bureaucracy and red tape. History of being run by members / traders means there is less respect for sales and marketing functions. Politics. Politics. Politics.

      Pros

      - Friendly working environment. - Slow-paced and relaxed. - Opportunity to work on high-impact financial software. Quite useful if you want to get into a trading firm later on.

      Cons

      - Limited skill growth capability (tools are severely locked down, etc) - Work life balance can be shaky sometimes since systems fail after 5pm, weekend, etc. - Documentation is terribly organized. - Not enough focus on engineering culture. Overall probably not the best place to stick around if you like exploring new skills, building from the ground up, taking ownership etc.
