Pros
It was 2005 (not the 2013 I had to enter), but the effects are still being felt, judging from recent reviews lamenting the IT department.
Cons
They brought me in as a consultant -- through multiple layers of Indian firms which took two-thirds of my pay -- to convert their code, which I did through automation of the conversion process. When I completed that job in weeks rather than the several months slated for it, I was given other tasks, which I also automated. Then they terminated my contract because I was not leaving any work for the visa workers doing mere coding.
