Pros
- Quite a lot of freedom within the day to use one's initiative. - Some travel opportunities - Within quality, there is a lot of interaction with suppliers (networking). - Staff canteen - Half day on Friday! - Early start early finish
Cons
- HR cannot meet any sort of deadline. My new contract came 2 days after the old one had expired! - Management are heavily under-qualified and autocratic. - They take on graduates on internships and have no graduate programme or plans for progression. - Funding for further academic studies does not happen anymore. - A severely aging workforce which is almost entirely resistant to change. - Not enough educated people working within UK manufacturing.
