Pros
1. Foot in the door of medical device sales 2. Don't have to work all that hard 3. Attainable quotas 4. Like-able managers at Regional level 5. Products are priced competitively which helps overcome the lack of innovation
Cons
1. Management at corporate level is horrible - VP holds the purse strings TOO tightly. Example - haven't had a regional OR national sales meeting since 2008 - prior to that it was 2006. 2. Communication between corporate and field is non-existent 3. Compensation structure based on GP and not a fair assessment of performance. 4. NO opportunity for advancement unless someone retires or dies. 5. Incompetent trainer and overall insubstantial training program 6. Products are "me-too" for the most part 7. Back orders and product failures abound.
