Pros
Having worked for COPS Monitoring in several different positions for almost 5 years, I can honestly say this company cares. For you as an individual, there are a heap of benefits such as Vacation time, Earned Sick time, Frequent raises ( No cap on pay either! ), Quarterly paid trips for tenured employees, Half-price drinks and free coffee, Extravagant Holiday party, and Management's Open door policy. While I could go on, I want to also mention that COPS Monitoring and all of their employees do their best with growing your skills set, even if this is your first job or your 100th. As our CEO once said, "You don't have to go after the person in front of you to grow." Advancement opportunities become available quite frequently because of the constant state of growth we are in. The job itself is quite easy and you are seated for most of the day which is relaxing. Throughout your first 3 weeks, you will be with someone training, which is overseen by the Shift Managers. There is technical information you have to learn, but after the first week you’ll find your groove. If you are on the fence about applying for any reason, I would highly suggest you submit an application and simply ask the hiring agent any of your questions or concerns! Personally, I have never felt more motivated and supported by a company that I often find myself blurring the lines between “company” and “family”. Due to the culture, working environment, and countless other benefits, I have fully dedicated myself to this company and their message. If offered another job from a different company that paid twice as much, I would turn it down with no hesitation.
Cons
I don't really like my commute. This is just Nashville's terrible infrastructure at play though. Aside from that, I am 100% content!
