Pros

Had a great group of co-workers.

Cons

Required to see multiple patients 2-4 per hour or half hour, including new evaluations with other patients some of which may be second visits. Lack of support staff so while seeing multiple patients also needing to clean, do laundry, put things away. Unable to take computer home to catch up on documentation. Lack of ability to take PTO due to no coverage. Micromanging. High expectations with lack of appreciation for when doing well - reprimanded for things out of therapist control at times like a patient cancelling. PTs are hourly and hours can easily be cut. Staff expected to be flexible for management not flexible for them. Poor work-life balance.

Pros

CORA Physical Therapy is a good company with a strong patient-first culture and a team of people who genuinely care about helping others. I’ve had the opportunity to learn a lot in my role, and there are chances to grow if you’re willing to put in the effort. My coworkers are supportive, and leadership is generally approachable and open to feedback. The company continues to invest in growth, technology, and process improvements, which creates opportunities for employees.

Cons

Like any growing organization, there are frequent process changes that can sometimes be difficult to keep up with. Communication between departments could be more consistent. Compensation could be improved to better reflect increased responsibilities and employee contributions.
