Pros
Nice people and work environment overall. Decent benefits. Hours aren't bad. You can stand when you're working at your desk.
Cons
We are behind on the times and out of touch in numerous ways, and there doesn't seem to be a strong or urgent desire to modernize. Our pace towards modernization is dreadfully slow. Are we ever going to catch up? Until we hire people outside of Bloomington, we will not change. We need to get more people in the door who can challenge the status quo of "we've always done things this way." There are different ways to get things done that can be more effective. We also need to get the right people into the right roles. Several people on my team don't have the right qualifications for their positions, and it brings our whole team down. The business does not collaborate, it's a my way or the highway mentality, and the level of control they have over IT is not good.
