Cons
Management uses subordinates as shields, with the exception of all the friends and family onboard who don't meet minimum job requirements. Vacation time is often not approved and even when it is, you can still expect to be contacted and assigned fulltime tasks. Very low communication, collaboration and morale. No career path or professional development. Even if you work 12 hour days through Christmas no Leader, Manager or Executive will acknowledge any appreciation for doing so. Attempts were made to downplay a Manager collapsing from a heart-attack in the office just before Christmas, 2014.
