Pros

Benefits are ok. I am grateful for some of the people I work with but they are too good for this place

Cons

Leadership issues. They are just there to collect a pay check, no structure, Policies enforced for some and not all, non realistic goals, call duty structure, over time given when there are no calls in queue only to falsify service level. Good ol boys mentality, racism, supervisors are new and do not have a clue how to lead. They only see you as a number. They will pay you to DO and not THINK. They do not want ot hear your potential added value as they are afraid of looking incompetent. This place is costing San Antonio a lot of needless money and truly needs an overhaul. They would do good with rehiring all new managers and revamping the fake PEOPLE FIRST culture. It is a culture of scare-tactics and lies. No genuine attitudes. Dont apply here. A lot of us are looking elsewhere. No room to leave the call center. They will find something to hold you back ie: dinging you for 1min over your personal time?!?!

Pros

Great for learning how to work in an office setting. Site visits were really cool. Intern events were fun. Worked on projects with the communication engineering team that genuinely helped them.

Cons

The communication engineering department is a little understaffed, they need a few more engineers.

Pros

Decent Government style benefits, on site cafeteria, volunteer events

Cons

I hate to say it, but the organization is going downhill. Employee morale is low in many departments. Working from home opportunities are becoming rare pushing talent elsewhere. Benefits are getting worse by the year. Leaders are micromanaging and the pressure is starting from the top. This is the first time I’ve considered leaving the organization since I’ve been here about few years. I really thought I wanted to retire here, but they are no longer investing in employee well being. They are simply worried about how the view is.
