Pros

Out side of the operations team, they are pretty understanding of maintaining work-life balance. There are a lot of job opportunities for people without a lot of experience or without degrees that are trying to break into the field or get a decent salaried position.

Cons

Pay standards are significantly lower than most comparable jobs, unless you are part of the executive team. They are extremely top-heavy in management and the England family is so large now that they are in the 4th generation of running the business that the advancement opportunities are scarce. From directors to VP's and Executive's, 2 out of every 3 positions has an England in it and they aren't leaving the company anytime soon. The top-heavy management makes it difficult because there are so many large ego's involved in the decision making process that everything happens at a snails pace. Additionally the salary gap between upper management and most employees/middle management is quite large. The company has had revenue problems for the last 5 years and the high number of fat salaries and bonus packages contribute a great deal to this problem, as well as having a very negative effect on the moral of the majority of the work force.
