Pros

Great frontline people, dedicated to providing customer service. They support one another and make the best of a difficult situation. By far they are the strength of CSAA.

Cons

We're going through our 5th claim reorganization, and still seem unable to get it right. Systems are antiquated, processes and procedures are cumbersome and ineffective. Planning and prparation on strategic issues seems lacking. Middle and upper management appear unwilling or unable to create and maintain quality standards. Career advancement is virtually non-existent, no cross-training. Corporate Values are used as a weapon and too many managers lack the necessary operational and people skills. While the staff is hard working, too often it is with little or no direction. Worse yet, they won't provide constructive criticism for fear of being labeled malcontents. Pay raises and promotions are given with little consideration for the skill and value of the employee, and bias is evident. It's a very sad situation, that could be rectified.
