Pros

If this were a turtle and a hare race you'd swear everyone expects us to get to the finish line first as the hare. Stop the madness........we are a small company trying to become large and running into the inevitable pitfalls that occur when these things happen. Spend all the time and energy and emotion helping rather than the constant complaining. Understand our shortcomings and work to fix them. It's a trite comment, but frankly, it appears we've lost the assumption of positive intent somewhere along the line. Lastly, not everyone's ideas are good idea's..........as senior leadership stop beating around the bush on communications..........if it's a bad idea........tell them. If it's idea we can't work with right now.........tell them............."no" is not a bad answer. At times its truthful, honest, and forthright. Somewhere along the line we stopped accepting "no" as a good answer. Best reason to work at CSAA...........boy, we do try hard to do the right thing.........executing it doesn't always work :0).

Cons

Accountability at the PLT level seems be a huge questions for the masses. Stop the chatter about working or dealing with change........most of us got it. If you have a plan and it fails explain why. If you have a plan and it fails because of something you or your organization "did" or "didn't do" explain why. In all the years of working here all the troops are looking for is good leadership and direction. We'll follow you into the tar pits if it makes sense; however, it does get tiring when you have to fall into a dozen of them.
