Pros

I am proud of the spirit and reputation AAA has.

Cons

The concept of AAA is lost in this organization. We have gone from a membership focused, employee powered not-for-profit organization to one that hopes to gobble up as much of the smaller AAA clubs across the country it can, all for ego and profit. They are sales people, smiling in meetings while plotting the next round of layoffs. Why the IRS hasn’t caught on is incredible. While they are focused on the dirty cats of wall street, they have let the rats go free. The open dialogue between executives and middle management has ceased. They are now a protected, tenured caste that has tripled their own bonus structure while laying off over 25% of mostly long term loyal employees. The experience and age of staff has plummeted down 14 years! Why an age discrimination suit hasn’t been asserted against us is incredible…probably result of HRS pandering to the new executive direction – frightened for their own future. Maybe they are blinded like so many of the other AAA clubs have allowed themselves to be folded into this enterprise is amazing to me. I suppose the quote might be right on this account, “…they feed the crocodile hoping that they will be the last to be devoured.”
