They are either picking off assets or losing them to their ridiculous idea of what a workload should look like. Never take a day off, log on on your vacations, work late into the night, neglect your mental and physical health, be perfect all the time and this is the job for you. But also its salaried at this level so sorry about not getting paid fairly for all that extra work.
I had some great supervisors in the past who I was very open with about my ADHD and how I work. When I came to be under the last one, she was dismissive and implied that my disability was something to be corrected. She was a horrible manager overall. She was passive aggressive. She would set expectations for me after I had already failed to meet them and then get upset with me. She would complain about how I did things because they were not the same way she liked but also had never expressed to me how she wanted them. When I would modify my habits to meet her expectations she would just move on to some other arbitrary reason to not be happy with me. I settled a claim in 3 days and it was not good enough for her because I set my activity to follow up on a release out 2 weeks. But I had the release back on the 4th day. She did not trust me to do a job that I had already been doing for almost 4 years before I had met her. When I tried to complain about this to her manager my request was ignored.
