Pros

For what is worth, talent recruitment is the responsibility of the actual hiring departmental management team. So if people successfully get along and bond in a working unit, it is because there is no formal HR hiring team. AAA NCNU still makes a lot of revenues regardless of economic depression. The ties to the wealthier Northern California members have been solidified over 100 years and the old fashion courteous and thoughtful manner of servicing customers still resonate but in much diminished portion in the new States the company has expanded to.

Cons

Members’ loyalty is rewarded but employees’ loyalty appears to be unwanted. For the last ten years there has been a surge of executives turn over as employee’s tenure drastically diminishes from 25-35 years down and further down to maybe 14. There is no fear of an age discrimination class action lawsuit yet. There is no longer trust and faith in any change made from too many re-organization, re-structuring, re-engineering processes. This proves that changes were only made as survival reactions to newly recognized challenges. As long as there is a survival instinct, this will promote bias, favoritism, nepotism, egoism and exploitation. Senior management concocted perks, bonuses and compounded special benefits which would probably mirror AIG’s federal misused money! Yet the front-line employees healthcare benefits and 401K plan are of the lowest quality money can buy. Wake up people! You do not pay that high to get healthcare coverage out here! And there are 401K plans faring much better than yours. But who will “call it out”?
