Pros
This was my first job out of college. I knew I wanted to go into the tech industry but I didn’t know where to start or if I’d be able to find a place that would be willing to train me, since I was so new. CSAT took me in and transformed me from a clueless newbie to a seasoned computer repair technician. The training here is great, I feel like I learned years of information in my first few weeks. As a company, they really prioritize learning new information, so I feel like I’m learning the newest, most cutting-edge information in the field. One of the reasons I’ve been here for so long is because I honestly feel that I won’t learn as much anywhere else. No matter how new or high-tech the machine is, we’re taught how to fix it in an easy, digestible manner. If I do choose to leave, I believe I’d be hirable almost anywhere based on how much knowledge I have now and how much experience I’ve gained here.
Beyond that, the company offers flexible hours, good benefits, great pay, and PTO. I feel really lucky that this was my first job and not somewhere else. The hours can be long, especially at first, but it’s definitely worth it for how much you learn.
Cons
You have to put a lot of effort in at first. The hours are long and management has very high expectations, but if you can hack it you’ll learn a ton and get a massive start to your career.
