      Good for security, bad for opportunities and growth - Anonymous employee CSC Employee Review

      Pros

      Experience with this large global company looks great on a resume. CSC sometimes has fun employee appreciate perks (event tickets, give-aways, raffles, food truck day, etc). The CEO is down to earth and personable. Good place to work at if you want to do minimal work and still have job security.

      Cons

      The company is expanding so rapidly, they haven't accommodated their departments for the increased amount of workload. CSC boasts its "global and growing" status, but is afraid of change and innovation. Too many associates/supervisors that have been with the company since the 80's, and they are stuck in their ways. They don't reward innovative thinkers who demonstrate initiative and have fresh leadership skills (if this is you, this will not be a fulfilling company for you)

      Pros

      Great benefits. Hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 at home) is nice for people who want to switch up the days they go into the office / work from home.

      Cons

      Terrible work-life balance! Overtime is optional, but managers try to guilt-trip you into working OT. The raise they offered was laughable, and I wasn't the only one who was insulted by it. Management is incredibly petty. I also sat through many conversations, started by a leader, surrounding politics and religion. If you're in the annual reports department, it is incredibly difficult to get out. I saw many people try to get into other departments only to be blocked each time. If you're in a satellite office, they will forget about you! They only care about the DE offices.
