Pros
Benefits are good, Co-workers are friendly. Company is very stable and continues to thrive. Many departments very lucky to have supportive Managers. There are opportunities to make a difference althought some managers are hesitant to move forward.
Cons
I have been here for numerous years and I am amazed how many people are fired. I shouldn't be as everyone signs a contractual clause when being hired that you can be "fired at will". When Management feels threatened its very easy to "terminate" an employee. There is major discontent within many areas. Company starting to "rebuild" relationships by realigning Manament but still too many "old timers" who like the status quo. As long as you keep your head down and never question anything you will have a nice long career. Some may find this a Pro, I do not. Secrecy surrounds every manager discussion in my area. Human Resources more concerned about following scripts then being a true resource to employees.
