Pros

CSC is very stable and has many reachable and profitable future goals. Good benefits package Average annual salary

Cons

CSC is just an okay place to work. It has an almost cultish feel whereas they brain wash you that this is such a great place to work, but in reality it’s just ok. Some departments appear better to work in than others (IT is not one of the better departments). It seems as if the managers who have been there awhile are unwilling to change and demand conformity even though the corporate and HR ideas suggest otherwise. It also has a strange workplace culture and management has their favorites and they seem to get preferential treatment. Mid- Level Managers tend to Micro-Manage their employees, which make them feel suffocated and paranoid.

Pros

Great benefits. Hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 at home) is nice for people who want to switch up the days they go into the office / work from home.

Cons

Terrible work-life balance! Overtime is optional, but managers try to guilt-trip you into working OT. The raise they offered was laughable, and I wasn't the only one who was insulted by it. Management is incredibly petty. I also sat through many conversations, started by a leader, surrounding politics and religion. If you're in the annual reports department, it is incredibly difficult to get out. I saw many people try to get into other departments only to be blocked each time. If you're in a satellite office, they will forget about you! They only care about the DE offices.
